Author, Mystic & Teacher

 

Ted Andrews was an internationally recognized author, teacher, mystic, and master storyteller in the shamanic tradition.  His book on animals as spirit guides and symbols, Animal Speak, sold almost 500,000 copies from 1993 to 2009; the influential Llewellyn-published book is widely cited by others. He was a highly acclaimed speaker and teacher who conducted sold-out seminars throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia.

 

Ted Andrews was deeply respected teacher in the metaphysical and spiritual fields. Through his seminars, symposiums, workshops, and lectures, he was committed to making esoteric material comprehensible and practical for everyone. Ted Andrew's many gifts included clairvoyance, aura interpretation, past-life analysis, dreams interpretation,

numerology, and Tarot.

 

Ted began as an English teacher and evolved into an internationally renown author of more than 40 books in 24 different languages.He wrote many books on these subjects, but is best known for his work with animal mysticism and for his bestselling Animal Speak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small. Certified in basic hypnosis and acupressure, Andrews was also involved in the study and use of herbs as an alternative path in health care, focusing strongly on esoteric forms of healing with sound, music, and voice.

 

In addition to his interest in metaphysics, Ted was a trained pianist and often used the Celtic harp, bamboo flute, shaman rattles, Tibetan bells, Tibetan Singing Bowl, and quartz crystal bowls to create individual healing therapies and induce higher states of consciousness. Ted lived on a farm and animal refuge center in Jackson with his beloved wife Kathy,  He has left a lasting legacy of animal knowledge and mystical lore that will no doubt pass the trial of time and not be forgotten.Ted was admired and loved by many who knew him and those who were inspired by his books.
